The Four Horsemen Of The Apocalypse
This concept comes from the new testament of the Christian bible in chapter six of the Book of Revelation. The Apostle Paul first wrote it while he was exiled in the Island of Patmos. These messages were given to him by Jesus and can be seen as a warning to humanity.
The first of the four seven seal's are known as the horsemen of the Apocalypse. They can be thought of, in esoteric terms as powerful energies. The first seal introduces us to the Antichrist (Revelation 6: 1-2).
Breaking the second seal causes great warfare (Revelation 6: 3-4).
The third of the seven seal's when called upon causes famine (Revelation 6: 5-6).
The fourth seal brings about plague, further famine and further warfare (Revelation 6: 7-8).
The first seal is associated with the colour white. It’s rider has a crown and a bow and has a very strong conquering energy.
The second seal is associated with the colour red. It’s rider has a sword. He wants to take peace from earth, turning brother’s against each other, making men kill other men. Killing with the sword.
The third seal is associated with the colour black. It’s rider has a weighing scale. He kills with hunger.
The fourth seal is Death itself. It is associated with a pale green colour. This horseman is openly given the name of Death and in the Book of Revelation he is followed by Hades and kills with a scythe. Famine, disease, and through the beast of the earth itself. It is sometimes thought that this horseman represents the Grim Reaper. The fourth horseman is the ultimate demonic force. He is only sent by the most powerful priest’s or cult leader’s from the dark side. The fourth horseman causes death to the recipient. Once he is called upon, he has to return with a soul. It is only sent when the sender is certain that the fourth horseman will be successful. If he fails to return with a soul, he will return to the sender and take his or her soul to Hades in it’s place.
