Parts Therapy

page 1

Depression:To stop her thinking and stop her talking.

Therapist:What is the reason that you stop her talking?

Depression:She cries when she talks about him.

Therapist:What are you doing for her?

Depression:Keeping her safe.

Therapist: What from?

Depression:Killing herself.

Therapist:Do you know that she wants to move on now?

Depression:No, she would still kill herself.

Therapist:She came to me for help to move on. You talk to Anne’s higher self. I will sit quietly for a few moments while you do this.

(Silence)
Therapist:Have you finished, yet?

Depression:Yes.

Therapist:What did Anne’s higher self say?

Depression:She will not kill herself, she wants to move on.

Therapist:What can you do to help her move on, what will You change yourself into?
(Silence)

Depression:Peace and joy.

Therapist:Go ahead and do that. Fill the gaps and space left by depression with peace and joy.
(Silence)

Depression:I have changed, I am happy as peace and joy.
Talking to the part, the energy, or the Problem

This method enables the therapist to talk to the client, once removed, or the energy, or the problem via the sub conscious or the higher self, depending on the client and the therapists belief systems. e.g. A spiritual or non-spiritual belief system. Therefore depending on your belief you are speaking to the subconscious mind, the energy, entity, problem or higher self.

Based upon the above, for the sake of this paper, I will write as if speaking to the subconscious, but this can be reinterpreted as any of the above. e.g. Speaking to the higher self, Energy, Spirit or entity.)

I would firstly help the client into a medium to deep
altered state. I would of course, if I was working from a
spiritual perspective, ask for protection for the room, the
client and myself. (This is a separate subject)

When the client is fully relaxed and has achieved the ‘right’ depth of ‘trance’, I always ask the subconscious to take the client as deep as is necessary to do the work that is needed. I ask the sub-conscious for permission to speak to the problem. e.g. the depression, the anger, the fear etc. In my experience it is very rare indeed for any answer to come back other that yes. Remember the ‘client’ has a vested interest in achieving a positive outcome to the session.

For the sake of ease this paper will use depression as the problem or example. Almost anything else can be spoken to whatever the perceived problem. The client is also more likely to tell the truth, be honest and not be threatened by this method. The information gathered is more objective and not emotive. The client is less likely to be in denial, ‘after all it is not them speaking!

When the answer yes comes back from the ‘subconscious’, I then fully question, with the objective of gaining as much information as possible, for the client.

You can make a range of suggestions as to how a solution to the problem might be achieved; always remembering that the client will, in most cases, know what is needed, subconsciously. The client should always have a choice and freedom to make their own decision based upon the knowledge gained from the answers to the questions. They become their own therapist. They do not need you to tell them to do or accept anything.
e .g.
Therapist:I am speaking to Depression. How did you come to be in Anne?
Depression:She created me.

Therapist:What did she create you for?

Depression:To stop her thinking.

Therapist:What about?

Depression:Donald, her husband. -

Therapist:What about Donald, her husband?

Depression:He died.

Therapist:How did he die?

Depression:He drowned

Therapist:How did he drown?

Depression:On a fishing trip. The boat sunk.

Therapist:Where are you, in Anne?

Depression:In her head and in her throat.

Therapist:What for?

page 4

I said again, fill every part and space that was left empty by the departure of depression. (Silence)

I said thank you for helping Anne. I am now speaking to

Anne: Anne, how are you feeling?

Relaxed and happy was the answer.

What makes you happy, I said.

I have let Donald move on. I was holding onto him. I would not let him go, said Anne.

I asked Anne to go ‘inside’ and have a look at the spaces where depression had been before it changed. What is there now?

Peace in my head and joy in my throat. She said.

Do you like this, I said. Are you happy now?

Yes, she said, very happy.

I said thank your subconscious for its help and hard work and thank joy and peace for joining you now.

After a few moments, I gently and slowly helped Anne ‘return’ to full consciousness in the room by counting her back.

I have found that this method will work with virtually all negative emotions and self created negative energies. It is also a method that can be used if one is working in a spiritual way with those who have negative spiritual problems. Keep everything simple and uncomplicated. Be flexible and use your intuition. The client will do the work you are just the enabler.
