The Road
There is a road which is approximately four miles long. The road runs from just outside my home town to the Cathedral City near bye.
It is the ‘back way’ into the city and the majority of the road is through thick woodland which is wild and swampy in many parts.
In the road there are only five houses all of them are situated in the first mile nearest my town. There are many dangerous bends and places on the road.
I sometimes use this road during the middle of the day, but nearly always avoid it in the late afternoon and evening. There was, I felt, at these times a ‘heavy’, oppressive, atmosphere. There was also a sense of despair and fear combined with what felt like negative and distructive energy. This was apparent over much of the road.
I must admit that until recently I had not thought much about why I felt these energies. I just avoided the road whenever I could manage to do so.
Last year, the local Authority closed the road. The reason given, was that the road needed changes, for safety reasons. A few days later the local paper ran a story in which it was stated that the local Authority was considering closing the road to through traffic, permanently. The paper said that over the last five years there had been fourteen serious traffic accidents which included six deaths on the road.
I now knew the reason for my unease about driving on this road. My intuition told me that I needed to endeavour to help the situation, if at all possible. I considered working at distance, from my home but my instinct told me to go to the road. I needed to go to a woodland car park which was situated about half way along the road.
Before I left home I sent out my thoughts to any ‘people’ in Spirit still on the road, to join me at the car park, if they would like help. I also sent love, light and positive energy to reassure, hopefully, any who might be reluctant or suspicious of my motives as I felt there was a great deal of anger, ‘pain’ and sadness around the area. I arrived at the car park just at the time between light and darkness. There was a silence that seemed to have a life of its own.
I sat silently observing the surroundings. After a few minutes I became aware of four separate energies, sensing them and ‘seeing them’ although visually one could not define actual ‘people’.
I asked mentally: Will one of you speak on behalf of the others? The reply was: I will speak on behalf of my brother. This turned out to be a brother and sister who had been killed on a motorcycle. The other two said, we will speak on behalf of ourselves. They all asked: Why are you here? I said that Spirit from the Light had asked me to help and that my positive intent was to help them to go to where they belong, in the light. I said that for various reasons they had become lost or Earth bound or both. I said: Are any of you happy here now that you have left you physical bodies? I received a unanimous no.
I said: I am speaking to the brother and the sister. What are your names please? I am Rosemary and my brother is James. Was the reply. - We were on our bike and hit a van on the bend, we then hit a tree. James left his body first, I saw him and then joined him.
- What were you doing on the road?
— We were students at the University (The University is just a mile away). We were going to class and we were late. We were going fast and the van was in the middle of the road.
I said: When you left your body did you see anyone from the Light ? —
- Yes, we saw a long golden road with people beckoning us. We were angry and we did not want to go to them. There were people all over the road and our bodies were lying on the grass. We wanted to get back into them but could not do so. I said: Why did you stay when you could not re-enter your bodies?
- Because our parents and sometime our friends visit the tree and Mum and Dad keep asking us to come back to them. We want to be here for them.
- Are you aware that if you go to the Light you will still be able to be here in Spirit for them? You do not need to be earth bound to have them still feel your presence or indeed for you to support them. Just as now, they will sense you and you presence and will either accept this or not depending on their spiritual awareness.
James than spoke: I think he is right. Here we are lost and unhappy let us go to the light.
I than asked the appropriate Energies/Spirits from the light to come to them and help them with their decision.
I said to Rosemary and James look to the Light and tell me who you
can see
- We see our Grandmother and Grandfather said Rosemary.
- Speak to them and then you will be able to decide.
I then left time for this to happen.
-Yes, we will go said both Rosemary and James.
I said: Take their hands (the Grandparents hands). How do they feel?
- Warm.
- Look into their eyes. What colour are they?
- Brown.
- Go then with all our love and blessings.
At this moment they disappeared and I heard the words, thank you
for helping us.
I looked around and said: Who else is here? I am David, came back.
I am Barbara, was also the reply. I said: May I speak with David first?
Yes, of course. Barbara said.
-David, how did you come to be on this road?
- I am lost.
- How did you get lost?
- I drove into a ditch on the bend. All I could see then was people all
over the place and I was looking down on them. I saw my body lying
