The voodoo Priestess and the Curse
The case of Petra
Voodoo can often be a misunderstood religion. Many, when they hear it mentioned, will automatically think that it is an ‘evil’ negative religion.
This is not necessarily the case as it is roughly split into two parts. One working for the ‘Devil’ the dark side, the other for ‘God’ the light side.
The religion is a mixture of the Roman Catholic faith and ancient beliefs and doctrines. There is a strong element of Devil worship on one side and the worship of God on the other.
I know four Shaman Priests and Priestess who follow the Religion.
I recently attended a retreat at a College of Spiritual and Psychic studies. I waited until the queue for the dining room to disperse and when I entered the room there was only one seat available, on a table next to what I later discovered to be a Haitian priestess. Her name was Petra.
Petra told me that she was a voodoo Priestess working for the Universal God. She stated that a Priest of darkness had put a curse upon her and that a ‘demon’ had moved into her body. Petra stated that the ‘demon’ was causing her great physical and mental pain. She said that her Spirit Guides and helpers had told her to come to the college in England, from Haiti where she would find a person who would be able to remove the ‘Demon’ from her. I told Petra that I practice Spirit releasement and if she wished, I would endeavour to help her. I said if she wished, she could meet me in one of the small meeting rooms at seven the next morning.
Petra anived the next morning at exactly seven and came into the meeting room. I noticed that the temperature of the room dropped considerably when she came in. I also sensed that an extremely angry and malevolent sprit was with her.
Petra said that the ‘demon’ had tried to stop her coming to see me. Both her clock and watch had stopped and she felt violently ill, suffering from extreme giddiness and difficulty in walking. I looked at her and said:
-I am speaking to what ever is ‘within’ Petra. Who are you?
-I am the servant of the Master
(The answer was accompanied by considerable verbal abuse.)
-What is your intent?
-Do not interfere this is not your affair. I have come to punish her and I will not fail. I know you. Keep out of my way.
I asked the Universe and the Archangel Michael to send extra light and protection for both Petra and myself. I also asked to receive insight and guidance in to what to do in this case. At once, into my mind came an answer. I was told not to get into a verbal confrontation with the entity but to send it love and light. In addition I was told that due to Petra beliefs, I should use the language of a ‘classical’ exorcism. I would not normally work in this manner.
I looked towards Petra and said:
-I command you to leave Petra in the name of the Universal God, Jesus Christ, the Virgin Mary and all the ascended Masters. Return to where you came from or to a place in the Light.
There was then a loud curse, which came from Petra’s mouth. This was followed by a blast of icy cold air, which left the room through the outside wall.
At this stage I asked that the space left by the departed entity be filled with love, light and healing. I asked that the Archangel Michael and his helpers surround any other negative energies or entities with light and love taking them to the most appropriate place for them. This resulted in several other attachments leaving. The place was filled with light and healing.
Petra was very emotional and thanked me profusely. I said to her: Do not thank me. Thank God, the Angels and the Ascended Masters.
Petra left the college the next day and returned to Haiti.
